1940's Women's Smoking Jacket and Pants Set Fashioned by Flobért 40s Dressing Gown 40's Loungewear Women's Vintage Size Small

I've honestly never seen anything quite like this, and in such fab condition; women's 1940s velvet and satin lounge set / smoking jacket and pants set.

The jacket is a swing style, with a beautiful drape in the back (which is 3" linger than the front). And it features quilting on the velvet, intricate woven satin buttons, shoulder pads, pointed satin sleeve cuffs, large baggy tulip-shaped pockets (lined in satin) and more sumptuous yellow/gold satin lining on the inside of the jacket.
The pants are high waisted and fitted at the top with darts which open to a very relaxed, baggy leg. There is a metal zipper and snap closure on the side. The pants are not lined but soft inside.

Excellent vintage condition: There are some very small and faint stains on the upper lining of the jacket. The left cuff has some minor picks. There are some small "rough" spots in the velvet on both sides of the pants,not bery noticeable with the texture and shine of the jacket.

I was afraid to have it dry cleaned because these of this age tend to have a finite amount of cleanings left. But it was lovingly stored for decades and has no strange odors, etc. I did a quick home dry clean just to freshen it up.

Approximately a size small/medium. The jacket is meant to fit relaxed, in a swing style with the pockets flowing out. There is no stretch to the fabric so please check measurements carefully.
