Vintage 1940's evening bag in sumptuous, inky black velvet with kissing clasp. Made by Dover.
The lining is a gorgeous peachy satin and includes original attached coin purse.
A must-have for your vintage collection or to add some pinup glamour to a contemporary outfit.
Excellent vintage condition: there is some oxidation on the coin purse's clasp and there is a bare spot on the bottom of one side of the handle (barely noticeable) The handle and the purse are a tad stiff but I've stuffed it with acid free tissue paper and hung it up to start the straightening process. These things do not affect overall appearance or function.
