1940s Women's Smoking Jacket and Pants Set Styled by Waylon - 40s Loungewear - Women's Vintage Size Small

40s lounge set with jacket, pants and belt, Styled by Waylon.

The quilted jacket is a swing style, with a beautiful drape in the back. It features beautiful embroidery and appliqués, pockets, black velvet trim and belt. The belt has gold metallic baubles on the ends and they're so cool.
The pants are high waisted and fitted at the top with darts which open to a very relaxed, baggy leg. There is a metal zipper on the side. The pants feel almost like taffeta and have a cool trouser look.
From an estate sale.

Condition: no holes, seams are strong, zipper on pants works well and the embroidery is intact. There is fading throughout jacket but the pants look fine. There is a small pink spot on the front of the jacket. Please see all photos. This is a special piece of fashion history.

I don't trust my local dry cleaner with things like this so I home dry cleaned and steamed it to freshen it up.

Approximately a size small. The jacket is meant to fit relaxed, in a swing style. There is no stretch to the fabric so please check measurements carefully.
