Adorable 70s dress in a shimmery green fabric with woven floral pattern that reminds me of a Klimt painting. The hues change in the light when viewed from different angles and it's so eye-catching. It feels like maybe a taffeta or heavy satin jaquard.
It features tailoring darts a slightly dropped waist, an a-line skirt and (my favorite part) HUGE cuffs; They're full circles and look like dinner plates when held open. Another nice detail is that the inside if the cuffs are lined. They give this whole dress serious groovy points.
This would SO cute with a pair of gogo boots. And imagine it as a St Patty's Day or Mardi Gras outfit!
Appears to be handmade by a very talented dress maker.
Excellent vintage condition: no holes, tears or fading. One tiny repair on the front, almost unnoticeable with the busy pattern. you have to look for it to see it.
Home dry cleaned and steamed by me. Nice and fresh.
Approximately a size xs/small. It's pinned to the mannequin because the drop waist wouldn't fit over the shoulders and there is zero stretch to this fabric. Please see measurements:
