1960s Floral Dress and Matching Jacket Set by R&K Originals- 60s Day Dresses - 60s Women's Vintage Size Large

Vintage 60s dress and jacket set in a floral pattern with the prettiest color pallette: light cocoa brown, pastel blue, white and butter cream yellow. Made in the USA by R&K Originals. Found at an estate sale in Charleston, SC.

The structured sleeveless dress is a curve-hugging sheath style. The bodice has vertical darts from bust to waist in front and back and horizontal darts on the sides of the bust.
The waist is fitted and the skirt has gathered pleating at the waist in the front and back. Finished with a long, blue metal zipper in back.
The jacket has a notched collar, 3/4 sleeves and satin lining.
The fabric is a nice weave and feels like linen or a linen blend.

This set is a pinup girl's dream and a must have for your wearable vintage collection.

Very good vintage condition: no holes, tears, fading or repairs. The seams are strong and the zipper works great. There are rust stains on the front of right hip (covered when jacket is worn) and there is a tiny rust stain on the bodice. They're not obvious and do not take away from its beauty or function.

Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. It still retains just a whiff of the old dry cleaning fluid (it was dry cleaned and stored decades ago), but that will further dissipate, and disappear, with wear, airing out and cleaning

Approximately a size large, pictured on size 10 mannequin and pinned to fit. There is no stretch to the fabric. Please see measurements:
